Meanwhile, a young boy was killed in a different aerial attack in the Zaporizhzhia area in the southern area, based on information from regional authorities.

Moscow has escalated attacks on power infrastructure over the past few days, while Ukrainian leadership has requested "concrete actions" from partner nations to exert influence on Moscow.

"The necessity is not symbolic gestures but decisive action - from the United States, the EU and the G7 - in providing air defence systems and implementing restrictions," was stated in a online statement.

Officials stated that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and several dozen projectiles attacked Ukraine's energy infrastructure, describing such attacks as "premeditated" and against "essential services" as winter approaches.
